Airlines:
Banjul is regularly served by a number of
international airlines and is only a few hours
flying from the world's major trading centres. The
airport is currently the focus investment with the
construction of a new ultra modern terminal complex.
The airstrip is of a high specification, to fit its
role as NASA emergency landing site.
Sea Links:
The majestic River Gambia, navigable up to 300
kilometers from the Atlantic coast into the heart of
West Africa. is a well established trading route.
Today commercial barges make the journey upstream on
a frequent and regular basis, providing a cost
effective and reliable alternative to road haulage.
Un spoilt Natural Environment
The Gambia offers an array of exciting flora and
fauna and exotic bird life. Miles of clean ocean
water, palm fringed white sandy beaches and a
pleasant tropical climate has earned The Gambia its
reputation as the premier tourist destination in
West Africa. |

Accommodation:
A well developed tourist infrastructure has provided
The Gambia with a readily available pool of modern
comfortable hotels and bungalows which are tasteful
blended with our typical African environment. These
hotels are mostly located along the beach within 10
minutes drive from the Banjul Freeport.
